Who We Are
  • Established in September 2011, MTX Marine Design & Consultants Pte. Ltd (''MTX'') aims on meeting the client's needs as an independent naval architecture and marine engineering service provider.

  • To-date MTX has grown rapidly to more than twenty staffs and has two offices, one in Singapore as its main office, and the other one in Johor Baru, Malaysia.

  • Most of our members are engineers-trained and has many years of experience in the marine industry, especially in ship design and design services. In our midst we have professionals including the Naval Architects, Marine Engineers, Structural Engineers, Mechanical & Piping Engineers as well as the Electrical Engineers.

  • Our company's key personnel have average more than twenty five years' experience as a ship designer in various ship design companies and have also been involved in various type of vessels such as Offshore Support Vessels (like AHTS, PSV, DSV, Accommodation Barges, Pipe Laying Barges, etc.), General Cargo Vessels, Oil Tankers, Chemical Tankers, Container Vessels, Bulk Carriers, Harbor Tugs, Coastal Tugs, Landing Crafts, and so on.

    As a Ship Design & Consultancy company, MTX aims to provide its clients with professional services from initial study to detail designs, most of which are as follows:

  • Feasibility studies for various vessel's requirements.

  • Vessel's conceptual design and initial studies.

  • Vessel's bidding supports to clients with bidding requirements and necessary technical documents' supply.

  • Comprehensive vessel's designs from initial design stage to detail design stage including naval architectural design and calculations, structural strength analysis, vessel's layout and arrangement, structure and outfitting drawings, shaft arrangement, machinery equipment layouts, pipe system diagrams, single line diagrams, load analysis, lighting layout, etc.

  • Conduct vessel's inclining experiment and prepare all those required calculations and reports from classification.

  • Vessel's conversion designs.
